Kaelo the yeti loved to knit. He made many warm things. His big paws held the wooden knitting needles with care. Kaelo made cozy sweaters for all his friends.

Zara wore her light blue and white striped scarf. Kian wore his cozy orange and brown checkered beanie. They both felt very warm. Kaelo liked to see his friends happy.

One day, Kaelo saw a tiny squirrel. The squirrel shivered on a snowy branch. It looked very cold and sad. Kaelo felt worried for the little friend.

Kaelo wanted to help the little squirrel. "I will knit something special," he whispered. He went back to his cozy cave. Kaelo chose soft red yarn.

The next morning, Kaelo began to knit. His wooden knitting needles clicked softly. Zara and Kian came to visit him. They saw Kaelo knitting very fast.

"What are you making?" Zara asked. "It looks so soft and small!" Kian added. Kaelo smiled a big yeti smile. "It is a cozy surprise," he said.

Soon, the small red scarf was finished. It was perfect! Kaelo folded the tiny scarf with care. "Let's find our chilly friend," he told Zara and Kian.

They walked through the Whispering Woods. Soft snow crunched under their feet. Kian checked his compass to help. Zara looked up at every tree branch.

Suddenly, Zara spotted the tiny squirrel! It was still on the same snowy branch. The squirrel looked a little scared. Kaelo moved very slowly and quietly.

Kaelo held out the small red scarf. The squirrel sniffed it carefully. Then it took the scarf! It wrapped the soft scarf around its neck. The squirrel looked so warm and happy. Kaelo felt proud.
The end.
