Anya and Jian played in Grandma's big living room. The sun shined through the window. They were having much fun.
Suddenly, a soft sound came from the old piano. It was a tiny 'chirp, chirp.' What could it be?
Anya walked to the big piano. Jian walked with her. The sound was soft and sweet.
Anya put her hand on the piano lid. She tried to lift it up. But the lid was stuck tight.
Jian came closer to help his friend. "Maybe we can push it," he said.
They pushed and pulled, but it did not move. The tiny chirp came again, very soft. They wondered what was inside.
Then Jian saw a small latch on the piano's side. He put his hand on it. He pushed it in!
The side panel moved a tiny bit. They heard the 'chirp, chirp' louder now! Anya felt brave.
Inside, they saw a little toy mouse! It had a tiny key on its back. The toy mouse made the sweet sound.
Anya took the special toy mouse out. Jian smiled too. They found the piano's secret friend!
